If you are looking for a quick escape from the blinding light and stressful nights of City Life, Burot Beach is a perfect place for your crave of nature's treat.
With a budget of under 1,000php surely your thirst for tranquility and quiet weekend will surely be fulfilled in this place.
Located in the heart of Batangas, along the shores of Calatagan. Burot Beach offers a cheap yet magnificent place to lay-low over the weekend. Though to be honest, I was not able to take a lot of photos during our stay because I was too busy indulging myself to this wondrous heaven on earth. Well, I think I have sufficient pictures to share with you the hidden gem of Calatagan.

THE TRAVEL GUIDE TO BUROT BEACH
1. You can take a bus ride from Buendia going to Nasugbu, Batangas. We had a nice travel experience with DLTB Bus, our ride was rather a not so memorable one for me, since me and my friend decided to take a nap during the course of our journey.
2. We got off the bus in Lian, Batangas and went on a quick shopping for foods. After that we took a Jeepney Ride going to Calatagan.
3. When we arrived in Calatagan, we ate our breakfast in one of the carinderias along the road. We bought our water supply and then went on to hail a tricycle that will take us directly to Burot Beach.
WHAT TO SEE IN BUROT
Since Burot Beach is being managed by private owners. The place will ask you to pay for your stay, but need not to worry because it is not that expensive.
Entrance fee Day Tour is 65php
Overnight Stay will be 130php

This view of the beach will instantly calm all of your chaotic thoughts. If this sight does nothing to make you feel at ease. I don't know what else can.

We set our camp on the far side of the beach, offering us a good quiet place. The only downside of it is that once it gets dark it's really hard to find our camp even with flashlights.

Since we don't particularly want to be tanned. We took a dip around afternoon. The sun is still directly above us and there are no trees to offer us a small amount of concealment. The water though is not that cold and usually around afternoon you will be experiencing a low-tide.

Sunset from this place is really amazing. You get to view it clearly without the skyscraper buildings from the city or the usual noise that will make you feel annoyed since you want to hear the waters washing the shore.
And at night this place will show you a breathtaking view of the moon and the stars above the sky. Sadly, I was not able to get a decent photo of the star and I would definitely go back to this place to grab that chance to take some awesome dazzling pictures of the night sky.

Morning in Burot Beach will bring you new hope it's has an innocent ring on it. Giving you a new perspective of how the world shifts right in front of our eyes.

It was a nice weekend off to be honest. But if you will ask me what would be the reason for me to go back to this place, the stunning night sky would be my answer.

UPDATE
As of June 14, 2017, unfortunately Burot Beach is currently close to public. Though they did not mention any reason why they no longer entertain guest, they are recommending Ivory Beach for an alternative place to stay for an overnight get-away.
